Arrow Exit

Privacy Policy

Who we are

Arrow Exit (“the game”) is published by Darshan Jasoliya (“we”, “us”).

You can reach us at jasoliyadarshan96@gmail.com about anything in this policy, including a request to delete your data.

The short version

Arrow Exit is a puzzle game. You can play all of it without giving us anything at all — no account, no name, no email address. Played that way, your progress never leaves your device.

Creating an account is optional. If you choose to create one, we hold your email address, the username you pick, and your game progress, so that progress can follow you to another device.

Everything else that leaves your device is listed below, and that list is complete.

What stays on your device

Your level progress, stars, coins, gems, settings, chosen language and chosen appearance are stored in a file on your device. If you are not signed in, we never receive them. Deleting the game deletes them, and there is no copy anywhere else.

If you create an account

Accounts are optional and the game is complete without one. If you create one, here is everything we hold and why.

Your email address and password

Handled by Google Firebase Authentication. We can see your email address; we never see your password, which Google stores hashed. Your address is used to sign you in, to verify that the address is yours, and to send you a reset link if you ask for one. We do not send marketing email.

Your username

The name you choose, between 3 and 16 characters. We also store a record reserving that name so two accounts cannot claim the same one.

The date your account was created

Your game progress

Once signed in, your save is copied to our database so you can continue on another device. It contains what the device file contains: levels completed, stars, coins, gems, settings.

That is the entire list. There is no field for your real name, your age, your phone number or your address, and no screen in the game that asks for them.

What leaves your device either way

Anonymous gameplay statistics

We record events like a level was started, a level was completed in 48 seconds with 3 stars and a hint was used. These tell us which levels are too hard and which are too easy.

This uses Google Firebase Analytics, which also automatically records your device model, operating system version, app version, language and the country your connection appears to come from, along with a randomly generated identifier for this installation. That identifier is not your device's identifier, cannot be used to recognise you in another app, and is discarded if you reinstall the game.

Google's privacy policy

Crash reports

If the game crashes we receive a report describing where in the code it happened and what the device was doing at the time. This is how crashes get fixed. It contains no personal information. This uses Firebase Crashlytics.

Advertising

The game shows ads between levels, and offers ads you may choose to watch in exchange for a reward. An active Arrow Exit Plus subscription, or the Premium Bundle, removes the ads you did not ask for. The rewarded ones remain available, because they exist to give you something.

Ads are served by Google AdMob, which receives your device's advertising identifier, your IP address and information about your device, and uses them to choose which ads to show. You control that identifier: on Android you can reset or delete it in Settings → Google → Ads, and the game plays identically either way.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the game asks your permission before advertising starts, using Google's consent form. You can change your answer later from the game's settings screen.

How Google uses data from sites and apps that use its services

Purchases

If you buy something, the payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your card details, and they are never sent to the game. We receive a receipt confirming that a purchase succeeded, so we can give you what you bought and restore it if you reinstall.

What we never collect

To be explicit, because “we may collect” language in other policies makes this worth stating plainly. The game does not collect, and has no code capable of collecting:

Children

Arrow Exit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, write to jasoliyadarshan96@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Deleting your data

If you never created an account, delete the game from your device and everything it saved goes with it.

If you created an account, you can delete it in three ways:

  1. In the game — Settings → Account → Delete account. This is immediate and permanent.
  2. On the web — use the form at arrowexit.web.app/delete-account
  3. By email — write to jasoliyadarshan96@gmail.com from the address you signed up with.

Deleting your account removes your email address, your username, your username reservation and your synced game progress from our database, and removes your sign-in record from Firebase Authentication. Requests made by web or email are completed within 30 days. It cannot be undone, and progress that exists only in the cloud is lost with it.

To have the anonymous analytics and crash data associated with your installation deleted as well, say so in the same message. Say which platform you are on and roughly when you last played.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to object to how it is used. Write to jasoliyadarshan96@gmail.com and we will act on it within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top and, for anything significant, tell you inside the game before the change takes effect.
